The official ticket sales calendar for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris has been confirmed by the Games Organising Committee, with a first ballot beginning in December.

In total, there are around 10 million tickets available across all the different disciplines included in the Games.

From December 1 until January 31, 2023, members of the public will be able to sign up to a ticketing draw.

Then, on February 15, those who are successful in the draw and members of the Club Paris 2024 will be able to buy ticket packs giving access to three different sports events.

These ‘multi-ticket’ packs can be personalised based on the preferences of the ticket holder and seat availability.

People will find out if they have been successful in the draw by email, and will be given 48 hours in which to choose their events.

February 19 will mark the opening of ticket sales to people who have been chosen in the ‘multi-ticket’ draw but who are not members of the Paris 2024 club.

In May 2023, those who are successful in the ballot will be able to buy individual tickets.

Those not chosen by the ballot will have the opportunity to buy tickets later in the year.

Paralympics ticket sales will also open later in 2023.

Members of the public will be able to purchase tickets for the Olympics Opening and Closing Ceremonies, with seats closest to the action on the River Seine costing €90.

If there is space, people will be able to watch the ceremony from further away for free.

A million seats at €24

Of all the tickets available, more than half will cost less than €50, including a million seats at €24.

Olympic final events will generally be more expensive, but one third of tickets will be priced at less than €100.

The Olympics will run between July 26 and August 11, 2024.
