British and Commonwealth Women’s Association

Registration #:

Based in Paris, the British and Commonwealth Women’s Association was founded in 1962 and is open to women who are, or who are married to, British or Commonwealth nationals. Join us today to speak English, meet other expats, and to enjoy the company of like minded people in Paris with whom you can take part in a variety of activities like golfing, book clubs or nature walks.

Lunches are also organised from time to time in a variety of restaurants all over the city and in the suburbs. Sometimes members open their homes to provide a venue for lunch which is a "pot luck" affair. These occasions provide an opportunity to meet new people and see new places in and around Paris. Members can consult the monthly newsletter for all the latest information on what is happening.

The association is run by volunteers and help from members is always welcome, such as organising or helping at events, providing "back office" support. There are many ways for you to keep busy in Paris. Ideas for new activities are always welcomed by the commitee. Please contact a member of the Commitee if you would like to offer your help.
